According to announced International University Rating for CIS, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia announced, Belgorod State National Research University is ranked 40th. This international ranking service was launched by Interfax Information Services Group, the largest diversified information group in the CIS, and a leader on the Russian B2B information market. More than 400 universities of Russia and CIS have been assessed.

The ranking methodology applied for Interfax rating considers education, research and international activity. Interfax’s expert panel expressed high opinion of BelSU as a university committed to maintain and develop international activity. They also marked the University’s advance in research capability. Summarizing the results, the experts gave BelSU 13 ranking points.

Lomonosov Moscow State University, Belarusian State University and Saint Petersburg State University were top-ranked by Interfax International University Rating.
