Traditionally the twelfth nominal auditory which is the laboratory was opened with the cutting of a symbolic red ribbon by the Principal of the BelSU Pr. Oleg Polukhin and the member of the university Board of Trustees the General Director of the holding company “Energomash-Story”.

The Principal thanked all the Trustees and benefactors of the university for the assistance in realization of social and educational projects and noted the importance and benefits of the new lab.

“On the eve of the 140^th anniversary of the university we have a lot of plans. On September 1 we opened a memorial plate dedicated to N.N. Strahov. The reconstruction of the spiritual and educational center named after another our outstanding countryman Mitropolitan of Moscow and Kolomna Macarius (Bulgakov) is being completed. It is wonderful that there are people who respond to all our requests related to the solution of social and scientific problems. I’m sure that the newest lab will be another step in the improvement of education and science in our university”, he said.

The manager of Department of scientific research work of students and young scientists of the BelSU Alexander Zhicharev said that the uniqueness of the lab is in the technologies that will be used in educational process.

“The software allows to simulate any production process and experiment which is invaluable in terms of preparation of specialists”, said Alexander Gennadievich.

The software was developed by the experts of the BelSU together with the programmers of the small innovative company JSC “SoftConnect”.

The graduate of the BelSU the General Director of “SoftConnect” Pavel Buzov noted that UFO-Modeler (the software that will be used in the lab) is a unique product ready for consumer use. It is able to compete with foreign analogues and allow the efficient use of material and technological resources.
