Ultimate Frisbee team of BelSU got bronze medals at Russian National Tournament “Kubok Stoletovyh” (Stoletov Cup) in Vladimir. BelSU team got the victory from Higher School of Economics (Moscow) with 7:5 score.

During the tournament BelSU outgamed the students from Vladimir, Moscow team Union, the team of St. Petersburg university and the champion of the tournament Moscow Bauman State Technological University. Belgorod team consisted of six people. Five of them should play on the field.

Captain and coach of BelSU team, Master of BelSU institute of Management Vladimir Kornev called this result “unexpected”.
“We’ve never won prizes before. Our lineup was experimental a bit, and there were few of us. So we didn’t expect to win, but did our best this weekend and won the most important matches”, – he said.

Now Belgorod team begins to train to the new tournaments. The trainings will begin since the 2^nd of October in Svetlana Khorkina Sports Center at 15:00PM.
