Writers, teachers, clergymen, librarians and students of BelSU History and Philology Subdepartment gathered at the conference hall of BelSU for the meeting of Belgorod Russian Philology Society.

The Principal of BelSU Oleg Polukhin greeted the participants of the meeting and told about the history of Philology Department development, and reminded that the university has been training teachers for 50 years for Russia and other countries.

“It is important for university, which trains Russian and Russian Literature teachers, to be in the very center of Russian language preserving processes and increase the teaching quality, so we are happy to discuss the problems of Russian language and point the ways of its solving”, – he said.

Philologists told about the problems of Russian language preservation and suggested the ways to solve them; reading of classic Russian literature, history studies, book exchange, educating programs etc.
