More than 130 athletes from 22 regions of Russia representing 39 higher education institutions have arrived to prestigious competition. These are arm-wrestlers from Moscow, Rostov, Sverdlovsk, Oryol regions, the Republic of North Ossetia and other territorial subjects of the Russian Federation. According to the dean of BelSU Physical ��è��Ƶ Department, the chief judge of competitions Igor Nikulin, the main competitors of the Belgorod arm wrestlers are representatives of North Ossetia (students of the North Caucasian mining and metallurgical institute and State teacher training college). There are many athletes, who represent the country team at World and European championships.

- We have high chances of a prize-winning place in a team competition, however the competition is very strong. It is difficult to predict something so we will be ill and believe in our children, - Igor Nikulin said.
