National Chess Championship took place at BelSU

Closing ceremony of a Classical chess championship of Russia among young men and women has taken place at the youth cultural center of the Belgorod State University

The ceremony of awards was held by the vice rector for cultural and educational activity of BelSU Svetlana Ostrikova, the chairman of Belgorod regional public organization "Chess Federation" and the international grand master Alexander Ivanov, the vice-chairman of interregional labor union Pravda Denis Vinokurov.

Svetlana Ostrikova has congratulated winners of competitions, and has wished to all participants sporting achievements. She has noted that chess is known as royal sport, but today they became good family tradition. She has congratulated winners and has wished them further sporting achievements.
