Dr Kolesnikov, head of the Pedagogical Institute's Faculty of Foreign Languages, was in the southern Uzbek city to deliver lectures on linguistics and language history, and sign the agreement. He met with Professor Bakhodir Shoimkulov, Rector of Qarshi State University, and key staff, with a view to expanding our academic agreement. The first students from Qarshi will come to Belgorod in autumn next year.
