This online-event was arranged within the 9th Regional Science Festival, where teaching staff, Master students and students from different Russian cities and universities took part. Also, there were scientist and researchers from China, Vietnam, Guinea, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Donetsk People’s Republic among the participants.

Olga Prokhorova, Director of BelSU Institute of Intercultural Communication and International Relations, Lyudmila Svoykina, Head of the Department of the Russian Language and Cross-cultural Communication and Liliya Petrova, associate professor of the Department of the Russian Language and Cross-cultural Communication greeted participants of the conference.

Professor Sun Daman (Qingdao, China) spoke at the conference with the paper devoted to the extension of international cooperation prospects between BelSU and China University of Petroleum.

The papers represented at the conference were devoted to the topical issues of Russian language teaching methods in a multicultural environment, different aspects of linguistic methods and job-relevant training, the problems of independent work of foreign students, advance in the preparatory faculty students adaptation to the new studying conditions.
