Organized by the Association of International Alumni and Students of Universities of the Belgorod Region, this event provided a platform for international students to share their unique perspectives.
In a vibrant celebration of creativity and collaboration, Belgorod State University recently hosted an inspiring business game titled “University of the Future.” This dynamic event brought together international students from BelSU, Belgorod State Technological University named after Shukhov, Belgorod University of Cooperation, Economics and Law, and Belgorod State Institute of Arts and Culture. The initiative, part of a larger project to create a unified information portal for international students in the region, aimed to foster connections and innovative thinking among participants.
The event featured a panel of experts, including Nikolay Tsybulya, BelSU Vice-Rector and Director of the International Cooperation Department; Svetlana Gaivoronskaya, Head of the BelSU Programs and Projects Department; Roman Travin, Senior Lecturer in the BelSU Department of International Relations, Foreign Regional Studies, and Political Science; Olga Lyutova, Director of the BelSU International Information Center; Natalia Kalavi, Lecturer at Belgorod University of Cooperation, Economics and Law; Tatyana Donnikova, Head of the International Student Services Department at Belgorod State Institute of Arts and Culture; and Elena Nazarenko, Associate Professor in the Department of Russian Language and Intercultural Communication at Belgorod State Technological University named after Shukhov, who is also affiliated with the BelSU Mahmoud Darwish Centre for Arabic Language and Culture. These experts assessed the teams’ performances and facilitated discussions throughout the event.
Ahmed Mansur, President of the Association of International Students in the Belgorod Region, took the stage to emphasize the importance of international cooperation. His motivating words encouraged participants to chase their dreams and make their voices heard.
Adding an intellectual spark to the day was Roman Travin, who delivered an engaging lecture on “Values and Their Role in èƵ.” He captivated the audience with his exploration of traditional Russian values and their significance in shaping national identity.
Following this thought-provoking session, students dove into brainstorming groups to discuss how these values could be woven into university life. The focus was clear: enhancing the study of the Russian language and providing tailored support for students from diverse backgrounds.
