BNRU Medical Institute's Department of Pathology has been conducting large scale research in histochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and cellular technology, in line with the University's policy of cooperation with universities at home and abroad. These monographs are the result of many years work.

The German academic journal 'Virkhov Archive' published 'Histochemistry', as did Voronezh State Medical University's (VSMU) 'Scientific Book'. This monograph was co-authored by Professor Igor Bukhvalov and Professor Markus Tiemann, both from the Institute of Haematology (UKE) in Hamburg, our own Professor Pavlova, and Dr Dmitry Atyakshin, the Director of the Research Institute of Experimental Biology and Medicine at VSMU.

'Thermal Injury' was published in BNRU's 'Belgorod' journal. It was co-authored by Professor Pavlova and Professor Kulikovsky with contributions from 12 senior academics from 11 academic and clinical institutions. Professor Pavlova said,

“This is a complex monograph intended for a wide range of readers, including medical professionals, lawyers, and sports physios. It is dedicated to the 20^th anniversary of the Medical Institute's Department of Pathology.”
